What the Experience Includes
Departure from Sisal port, 45-60 minutes sailing north along the coast, stop at anchor point for swimming and snorkeling (optional, equipment provided), return at sunset with views of the coast and flamingo flyovers possible on the lagoon edge. Duration: approximately 2.5-3 hours total. Includes non-alcoholic beverages on board.
Best Months for Sunset Sailing
Year-round, but the clearest skies are November-April. May-October has more dramatic cloudy sunsets (also beautiful but different). Flamingo flyovers at sunset are most common October-February when flocks return to the lagoon roosting sites.

Photography Tips
The "golden hour" light on the water lasts 45-60 minutes before sunset. Bring a camera with good low-light performance — the return to port in near-dark is atmospheric. A tripod or image stabilization is helpful on the moving boat.
